And spending three actions when you cast this spell = three missles = (1d4+1)*3. Magic missile has many additional rules that tie into Pathfinder’s specific systems, but otherwise is just like bolt; it’s a ranged attack that hits a target to deal damage. And probably 19 Int 12 adjusted Con and either 16 or 18 adjusted Dex. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities.
